Peter is a shareholder of and advisor to Forthlane and, in particular, supports the investment team with our Real Assets strategy. He currently serves as Chairman of SCP Resource Finance and is the founder of Argo Digital Gold. He also sits on the boards of Agnico Eagle Mines, the World Gold Council, and Alaris Private Equity.

With over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, Peter was Chief Executive Officer of Sprott Inc. from 2010 to 2022. Under his leadership, Sprott’s assets under management grew from $5 billion to over $20 billion.

Prior to Sprott, Peter was President of Cormark Securities. He has a proven track record of building and scaling successful financial businesses, notably as co-founder of Newcrest Capital, which was acquired by TD Bank Financial Group in 2000.

Peter is a CFA Charterholder and holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
