Karen brings more than 20 years of global capital markets experience, most recently serving as a Managing Director at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets. She is widely recognized for building high-performing sales teams and driving strategic growth initiatives that consistently deliver strong revenue and deepen client relationships. Her leadership has spanned Corporate Access, Prime Brokerage, and Electronic Execution Services, where she led efforts in CRM integration, data-driven marketing, and enterprise-wide thought leadership.
A respected culture builder and mentor, Karen has championed inclusive, client-focused work environments and played a key role in leadership development. She has held multiple board roles within industry associations and currently sits on St Michael's Hospital Foundation President's Counsel and has led numerous internal initiatives focused on mentorship and equity. She was the recipient of the 2023 Women in Captial markets Executive Leaders Award.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Engineering from Queen’s University and has completed executive training in Strategic Analytics from the Queen’s Smith School of Business.
