Connor brings a broad investment perspective to his role as Senior Client Advisor at Forthlane. His experience spans across equity research, portfolio management, and client relationship management. Beginning his career at Macquarie Group in equity research, he covered large-cap energy companies, before moving into wealth management and portfolio management roles at Gluskin Sheff and RBC Dominion Securities. Most recently, he was a Director in the Client Management group at Waratah Capital Advisors, a long/short hedge fund manager, where he advised ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, and foundations.
At Forthlane, Connor is based in Calgary and responsible for business development across Western Canada. He works closely with families, family offices, and institutions while taking the time to understand their objectives and helping them navigate complex investment decisions. He brings a combination of investment expertise and a client-focused approach to building long-term relationships.
Connor holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University and spent a semester on exchange at the Handelshögskolan (School of Business, Economics and Law) at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. He is a CFA charterholder.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Connor is passionate about wellness, healthcare advocacy, and athletics.
