Forthlane Partners, a globally focused Canadian independent asset management firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Dorrance to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Dorrance brings decades of leadership experience in financial services, most notably as Chairman and CEO of TD Securities from 2005-2021. He currently serves as Chair of TD Securities. Under his stewardship, TD Securities evolved into a leading North American investment bank, recognized for its disciplined strategy and enduring client partnerships. Before joining TD, Bob co-founded Newcrest Capital in 1995 alongside Forthlane’s CEO, Robbie Pryde, shareholder and advisor Peter Grosskopf, and others. He served as Newcrest’s President and CEO, helping establish the firm as a respected force in Canadian capital markets.
