David Fleck joins Forthlane Partners as the firm enters its next stage of growth

Forthlane Partners has hired David Fleck, an experienced investment executive, who will be integral in leading the firm through its next stage of growth.

David has had a 35 year career in the financial services industry, starting as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch Canada in 1986. David served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Capital Markets Ltd., Co-Head of Equity Products and Executive Managing Director of the BMO Financial Group, and President of Mapleridge Capital Corp. Prior to joining Forthlane Partners, David was most recently a partner and Senior Vice President at Delaney Capital Management, a money management firm with $1.5 bill in AUM. He is currently a Board Member of Alamos Gold Inc. where he is Chair of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.

David is very philanthropic and has served as a director of a number of Canadian based charities. These include: The Power Plant, Dignitas International, and Right to Play. He is currently Vice-Chair of the Advisory Council for Soulpepper Theatre Company and a board member of the Art Gallery of Ontario Foundation.
